- The Blaze -
The Blaze were born in January 2008 from the union of four young music lovers: Andrea on the guitar and on the voice, David on the keyboards and synthesizers, Francesco on the bass guitar and Marco on the drums .
Initially the band proposed the great classics of the rock of 70s, 80s, 90s, experiencing since then a broad acceptation by the public.
In 2009 the group approached an experimental rock music genre, beginning a thorough and accurate research of new sounds.
During these years the Blaze have racked up numerous victories in various competitions and have had the chance to play in their local context and important neighborhood (the Social Theatre of Mantua, the Palabam Theatre of Mantua, the big stage of "Casoni a tutta birra" and many others).
After the harmony reached during the years, in 2013 the band decided to start writing and composing new songs, with the aim of bringing something innovative in today's music scene.
In April 2014 they started to record the album with the help of Sandro Oliva and the artistic direction of Renato Giorgi who, with great passion and professionalism, has followed them in the whole project.
In September 2015 the CD Master ended and 30th January 2016, the album, titled "Overmind", came out: since then it's also available on all Digital Stores.
Through this concentration of sounds and emotions, the band invites to go beyond the superficiality, to dig up in the depth of every person, behaviour, situation, in order to get to the heart of each one; and despite the endless social difficulties, not to tie down hopes, but to give life to the dreams and to struggle in chasing them, giving a unique meaning to the existence.
The overall effect is magical, pure bliss, plenty of emotions.

Behind every song that we perform there is a thorough and accurate research of sounds, cradled by the melody of our voices.We love designing music scored, changing the tempo and rhythm of the songs, rearranging and going "outside the box" to arouse curiosity and surprise.There are plenty of sound effects to better enrich the arrangements and to make the listener identify with the track.There are many artists who have inspired us and helped us find our own identity: the legendary Toto, the enchanting and psychedelic sounds of Pink Floyd, the quality of sounds and lyrics of Sting and Peter Gabriel, the grit of Alter Bridge, the inspiration of Dream Theater and PFM technique, the sweet melody of U2 and Coldplay "

I Blaze nascono nel Gennaio 2008 dall’unione di quattro ragazzi appassionati di musica: Andrea alla Chitarra e Voce, Davide alle Tastiere, Francesco al Basso e Marco alla Batteria.
Inizialmente la band ripropone i grandi classici del rock anni ’70-80-90, riscontrando sin da subito un ampio gradimento da parte del pubblico.
Nel 2009 il gruppo si avvicina ad un genere Rock Sperimentale, iniziando una minuziosa ed accurata ricerca di nuove sonorità …
Durante questi anni i Blaze hanno collezionato numerose vittorie a diversi concorsi ed hanno avuto l’occasione di suonare in contesti locali e limitrofi importanti (Teatro Sociale di Mantova, Gran Teatro del Palabam, Grande Palco di Casoni a Tutta Birra e tanti altri).
Dopo l’intesa raggiunta negli anni, nel 2013 la band decide di iniziare a scrivere e comporre brani inediti, con l’obiettivo di portare qualcosa di innovativo nel panorama musicale odierno.
Nell’Aprile 2014 iniziano le registrazioni dell’Album con l’aiuto di Sandro Oliva e la direzione artistica di Renato Giorgi che con grande passione e professionalità, li seguirà per l’intero progetto.
A Settembre 2015 termina la masterizzazione del cd ed il 30 Gennaio 2016 esce l’album, intitolato “Overmind”, disponibile anche su tutti i Digital Stores.
In questo concentrato di sonorità ed emozioni, la band invita ad andare “oltre” alla superficialità, di scavare nel profondo di ogni persona, comportamento, situazione, al fine di poter arrivare al cuore di ognuno … e nonostante le infinite difficoltà sociali, di non incatenare le proprie speranze, ma di dar vita ai propri sogni e di lottare per inseguirli, dando un senso unico alla propria esistenza.
“Da sempre siamo un gruppo che sperimenta nuove sonorità. Dietro ogni brano che eseguiamo c’è una minuziosa ed accurata ricerca di suoni, cullata dalla melodia delle nostre voci.
Amiamo ideare stacchi musicali, cambiare il tempo ed il ritmo dei brani, riarrangiare ed andare “fuori dagli schemi” per suscitare curiosità e sorpresa.
Non mancano gli effetti audio per meglio arricchire gli arrangiamenti e per far immedesimare l’ascoltatore nel brano proposto.
Sono tanti gli artisti ci ispirano e che ci hanno aiutato a trovare una nostra identità: non possono mancare i mitici Toto, le sonorità incantevoli e psichedeliche dei Pink Floyd, la ricercatezza dei suoni e dei testi di Sting e Peter Gabriel, la grinta degli Alter Bridge, l’ispirazione alla tecnica dei Dream Theater e della P.F.M., la dolce melodia degli U2 e Coldplay.”
